I typically cleaned the church, because there was no heavy work to be done there. Usually just dusting, sweeping, cleaning the windows, and arranging the books and papers. I never felt entirely comfortable there.. I chalked it up to too many horror     movies and television, but I always had had an eerie feeling when I cleaned there, especially up in the balcony and in the small side-room. One day in August I waiting in the car for my grandma to finish mopping the preschool. I had already finished the church, and was highly relieved to be done with it because that day had been particularly creepy-feeling. 0ur car was parked in front of the building, near the wheelchair ramp going up to the side door.
