Horntown, Virginia Ghost Tales

The sunlight hours in Horntown, Virginia are like sunlight hours anywhere else, but if you are easily scared, you'd better stay at a safe distance from this place during the moonlight hours. Some of the buried refuse to stay in their graves in this city. Some folks who live here argue there are no ghosts, but the struggling spirits of Horntown are all too real.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of a guy dressed in armed forces attire may sometimes be distinguished at Big Millpond Dam before dawn munching on a sandwich.

A medieval armor without a person inside was noticed downing gasoline on the water's edge of Big Millpond. The ghost did not appear to be worried by the observers. Whichever way, this is an unpleasant ghost that any rational person wouldn't want to encounter.

The ghost of a lady with a bag strapped around her head came into view before dawn crawling out of Beaverdam Swamp drenched in mud. The ghost waved to the viewer.

A

partly translucent gentleman clothed as the captain of a ship was noticed floating down on Beaverdam Branch late at night. When the ghost was witnessed it disappeared into the thin air.

A large creepy ghost emerged after midnight fluttering across Cow Gut Flat. The spirit was ingested by the thin air after being perceived.

The ghost of
a shackled up man was observed pacing from home to home at the stroke of midnight on a Horntown residential street. Alarmed by the watchers the ghost departed into the shadows. People here who have observed this phantom argue this phantom is that of a resident who lived here in Horntown some time ago.

The ghost of a hobo was spotted looking down into the water at Chincoteague Point after midnight. This individual ghost has been noticed repeatedly in this neighborhood.
