Ivanhoe, Virginia Ghost Tales


In the daytime Ivanhoe, Virginia is equal to any other United States municipality, but when the darkness of nighttime starts; things get frightening. Some of the dead and buried don't want to rest in this settlement. Some locals claim there are no spirits, but if you are fearless enough to stay for the night in Ivanhoe, you may very well perceive a spirit for yourself.

    enough to interrupt the peace in Ivanhoe.

The ghost of a tough lumberjack holding a sizeable axe may once in a while be noticed striding through a house in Ivanhoe.

The frightening ghost of a Hun was seen at Big Branch in the early morning hours throwing bricks into the stream. Further stories of this ghost have been conveyed.
