Ghosts are so common in this place; scores of folks who live here don’t even lose sleep about it anymore. People who have never stayed for the night in this municipality will laugh and say it's superstition, but the phantoms of Louisa are out tonight looking for somebody to terrify. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A man with a large hole through his upper body has allegedly been observed on frequent occasions suspended in the air like a blimp in Louisa. A female's body with a rat's head can every now and then be perceived at Lake Louisa Dam before sunrise taking pleasure in the vista. A semi decomposed human dead body is regularly observed at Beaver Creek before       dawn hurling chunks of concrete into the current. The ghost of a young-looking air force pilot can regularly be made out at Caves Point at midnight looking down   into the water. In any event, this is an unsympathetic spirit that is better not disturbed. A youthful girl in a blood-splattered prom dress can be seen repeatedly in a store in the Louisa neighborhood. Based on what the residents claim, this spirit could be the soul of a resident who died here in Louisa some decades ago. A female with a blue-green face has every now and then been distinguished trying on shoes in a Louisa house. A man with a spear in his head has been said to have been made out on several instances struggling out of a drain hole on a Louisa avenue in the early morning hours before sunrise. A gentleman's body with the head of a raccoon can sometimes be observed howling at the observer to beat it in Bear Creek Lake State Park near the park headquarters. The ghost of a guy hauling a sword was spotted poking around in mailboxes before sunrise in Louisa. Being frightened by the eye witnesses the ghost withdrew into the night.
