I live just outside of forest. I grew up in the same house I've been living in for 18 years when I was younger I would have horrible night terrors to the point where I couldn't sleep by myself so being 5 years old I would run to my parents room and sleep with them every night.
After my mother passed away at the age of 7 I was still having horrible night terrors waking up with scratches on my arm. One night I had a really bad one so I ran to my fathers room and was freaking out.

He calmed me down and told me nothing was out to get me as any parent or sane person would however I remember almost falling asleep and looking over towards the bathroom and all of the sudden a dark figure came beside me and punched me in the face.

13 years later I sleep in my own room of course by myself and I awake many nights to strange sounds so I just wonder if maybe I am haunted by a spirit or demon. Anyway just thought I would share my experiences.

Have seen twice the figure of a 1900's young girl wearing an eyelet white dress holding something glowing in her hands. Has been recently seen by neighbors across the street twice as well. Woodland ave Lynchburg VA.
