Newport News, Virginia Ghost Tales

I was sitting at home one night about 5 years ago. I had just come home from deployment. I lived in an apartment complex right nest to Lee's Hall Mansion. I was watching TV in the living room about 7 at night. I was thirsty so I got up and grabbed the last of the milk in the fridge. Being lazy, I left the empty gallon jug on the counter in the kitchen. I went back to sit down and finish the show I was watching. All of a sudden, I watched the milk jug pick up and fly across the kitchen into the dining room. I was freaked out.

It took all I had to get up and check out what I had seen. The milk jug was laying all the way across the room. I picked it up, and threw it away, and left the house right after. I refused to be in the apartment by myself anymore. About one month later I moved. Being in that apartment was always a bit nerving. The creaking of the upstairs floorboards, the TV's turning on by their own. Usually I would explain these away as ''Old floors'', or I was picking up someone else's remote control signal. But, never can I explain

the milk jug. I get goose bumps just thinking about it again. .

I have lived 3 houses down from crawford road for 15 years and in my teenage years my buddies and I used to go back there and do teenage things.nothing ever bothered us, but one
night while walking down the road,my friend and I were startled by a very soft and far away shreik and thought nothing of it, however, a few minutes later we heard a rustling sound from behind in the woods and turned and saw a bluish-gray shape about 50 ft out. When we turned and stared at the thig, the rustling sound stopped, then all of a sudden picked back up as if something were running to us, immediately we turned and ran and I havent walked down that road since.

On the surface Newport News, Virginia appears like your average settlement, but under the surface there are atypical things happening. Night time is undeceased time in this town. Some residents assert these accounts are lies, but not all the dwellers of Newport News are breathing.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A beheaded man was seen sitting on a couch in a home in Newport News. The bystander got scared and ran away. In any case, it certainly is a frightening ghost that
you don't want to come across after midnight.
