Norfolk, Virginia Ghost Tales

One may observe unseen hands serving ghostly pound cake slices in the foyer of a home that once served as a hospitality center for soldiers during world War I. It's believed to be the spirit of the former owner who still hopes that her son who was missing in a battle would return home some day.

Not everything in Norfolk, Virginia is as it seems; this municipality has scary riddles masked in the darkness. The phantoms of this city don’t leave anyone unstartled. Some folks who live here claim there are no phantoms, but Norfolk is jam-packed with undeceased souls just waiting to terrify you.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A bloodcurdling beast may be observed repeatedly taking a swim down by Willoughby Beach late in the night.

The ghost of a silver-miner has occasionally been noticed at Boush Creek at night flinging bricks into the flowing water. Several of the locals claim this phantom is the tormented spirit of an old Norfolk person who lived here.
