Norton, Virginia Ghost Tales I saw a shadow like figure right behind this big tree in front of my house. Nobody believes me, but it's really true. Submitted by Minnie       Categories: home, figures, shadows The old St. Mary's hospital. A friend of mine lives right behind the hospital in the apartments there. We were hanging out around dark and after it turned dark there were lights on in the building. The hospital is being used as storage, someone could have been in there during the day to get something and left the light on, but that night it just came on. Submitted by Sarah       Categories: hospital, lights I was walking down the road with a few friends one night down on Main St. when I noticed a young looking girl hanging onto a light post! I told my friends and once they saw it to we decided that we would walk down and ask her if she needed our help. So a few minutes later we finally make down to where she was only to find her look at us and run away. She appeared to       be reaching for something in the distance as if she was struggling. There have been many reports of this ghost in local areas so she must travel from place place attempting at getting whatever it is she's reaching for. No one I know of has ever seen them but we know thier there. Red lights and tvs are always doing weird things. Curtains moving with no one there. Help us find them ... Ghosts are so routine in this town; loads of local residents don’t even fret about it any longer. Not everybody believes in the accounts the local residents tell, but not a hundred percent of the natives of Norton are quite alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A lady with the head of a goblin was noticed in a flat next to Norton. This ghost is extremely active in this area; there have been many additional accounts of this particular ghost. A woman gripping her head next to her arm was noticed reading a magazine by Osborn Rock. This is one of those ghosts that is noticed over and over again around here.
