My father Wesley Woodrow Pritchett owned Pritchett Wood and coal company in the Early 1940's. He use to deliver Wood and coal to sallie Hobson on Franklin street. She died in 1946 and my Sisters and I were going to start grade school so my father purchased the house for approximately 5 700 and we moved there in August 1946. My sister joan Elizabeth Pritchett started first grade at Duncan brown school on wythe Street and my twin sister Fay francine Pritchett and I started grade school in   (continued on the next page...)
