Pocahontas, Virginia Ghost Tales Abbs Valley Fire Department.... A woman ghost in a white dress walking down the steps to a platform on the back of the fire department, then vanishing. Reports of a young girl seen in a yard beside the fire department and then vanishing. Things take place around here that can't be explained. Not everybody believes in the descriptions the folks who       live here tell, but if you are fearless enough to spend a night in Pocahontas, you may very well distinguish a ghost for yourself. These are some of the spooky things that have happened   here recently. The ghost of an old hag was witnessed very late at night checking out Abbs Valley in detail. The witness ran away immediately after she distinguished the ghost. A lady's body with a lizard's head materialized staring at the water by Falls Mill Dam before sunrise. The ghost didn't care that there was someone other in attendance. It has been said that this individual spirit is probably the undeparted spirit of a person who used to reside here in Pocahontas. One thing is for certain, this is an unsympathetic ghost that is rather not disturbed. A guy with the head of a leprechaun was made out going to see Pinnacle Rock in the early morning hours. When the bystander came into view the ghost ran away. Either way, it's a scary phantom that you do not want to run into late in the night. A lady in flames, carrying a gasoline tank has often been spotted browsing through a bookshelf in the living room of a Pocahontas apartment very late at night. Based on what the people who live here argue, this phantom is the stressed soul of a long dead Pocahontas local resident.
