Okay so I lived in churchland for like 7 years in a house on high Street west and it was creepy. I was only 7 and below but I remember a lot. The history of it is that ( ps it's like ninety years old) a family of a mom and two sons lived there and one day the son was backing out of the driveway with his girlfriend and they got hit in the side and they both died.
The mom opened the door and felt something rush by her. A few months later the younger brother hanged himself in the attic. When we lived there we would hear laughter on the stairs and children running when there was no one there.
Every night after my mom prayed to god a tall figure would appear by the bed, a guardian angel. My dad is in the military so sometimes we have to leave to catch the sub in the middle of the night, and one time when that happened on a windless night we had to leave at three in the morning.|
When my mom tried to close the door it refused like something was pulling at it and all the shutters flapped back and forth. My dad didn't think there was anything so he went and tried and it still would not close so we left it.
After that there were no more happy children laughing just the feeling of dread and evil. We moved elsewhere soon. A cool thing to do is the Portsmouth ghost walk in October if your really into this stuff.
I go every year.
