Rixeyville is a very haunted place. I have a friend who owns a cabin in the woods off of Jamesonmill Rd. I have seen on more then one occasion the ghost of an old man who people of the area believe to be of a man named Mr. Jenkins who was burned up in a house fire on the property. I see him walk out of the woods, stop in front of the house and look up at the stars then walk off into the woods on the other side of the driveway.

My friend has talked to the people who use to live in this house have said the same thing along with another friend who camps on the property.

I have also seen blue orbs floating around by the gas line and you can see them floating around the kitchen windows.
