There are some old Cabins from the late 1800's still erect today. There is a little two person cemetery right off the trail. The sign leading into the gorge to view the Waterfall said that about twenty families lived in the area. Over the course of the past year I have hiked it five times. Three of the five times I have heard different sounds gotten     a very sad and ominous feeling and Felt tragedy surronding the area. There are three trails to get to the waterfall. The Blue Trail is where I have had my experiences. My girlfriend and I hiked it on 1/29/12. She has never experienced the supernatural until yesterday. We kept hearing a little girl laughing an Indian Call and a horn. That is the second time that I have heard the horn. I will keep checking back with this website to see if anyone ''bumps'' into the inhabitants of this trail. Google search bottom creek gorge for directions.
