Saint Paul, Virginia Ghost Tales I have lived in the same house all my life adn never thought it was haunted because I always slept up stairs. My house was previously made for both families ( when I was a child )then my son and his wife came to visit me and I slept on the couch. I knew when I was about 4 or 5 something happened and my older sister knew but wouldnt tell. We stayed with my grandparents in Castlewood for a week. Then when we came home, our neighbors downstairs where no longer there. I asked they told me to hush. But when I slept on my couch I had a bad feeling but never thought about it. THEN:: I remembered it . then I went to sleep. I awoke and I felt like I was being smothered. I opened my eyes to see the ghost of Mr.Lane my neighbor. then he disappeared & I could breathe. I walked into my restroom and saw Maggie Lane his wife chopped into pices in the tub. I still live in the house but always leave the bathroom light on.
