I was a typical college kid leaving my girlfriend’s House in Salem and heading back to my parent’s Home in Roanoke. My route took me to i81n from rt11n via Wildwood rd. It was late. For those readers familiar with the old Wildwood inn; a roadhouse of some infamy it had already closed for the night. I was pretty much     the Only car on the road. In those days I had Superior eyesight before the ravages of time and computer Monitor use had taken their toll. I could easily discern objects at distances when others couldn’t. I could clearly focus on the tiniest object right at the end of my nose. In my youth there was absolutely nothing wrong with my visual capabilities. Today I’m an aging old Guy with bifocals. As I approached the ramp from Wildwood road at a distance I could see someone standing beside the road a few yards up the ramp on the inside. As I got closer and   (continued on the next page...)
