The ghost of an elderly Indian chief can from time to time be seen smoking a cigar at Corbin Hall Farm Dam after midnight. A pitch black dog that transformed into a female   has often been spotted hurling stones into Cypress Shores Lake late in the night. Some people argue this ghost is the tormented spirit of a long departed Saluda local resident.
