Shenandoah, Virginia Ghost Tales I saw a female ghost in a house on Cub Run Farm Lane when I was a child. The house supposedly was a make shift hospital during the civil war. The spirit of a mail carrier is rumored to have been spotted on frequent occasions traveling on a motorcycle on a shady highway near Shenandoah. A womanly figure may repeatedly be made out in a home       in Shenandoah. Either way, this is a hostile ghost that you shouldn't go seeking. The ghost of a guy holding a sword can be made out very frequently late in the night giving a guided outing of Martin Bottom to a collection of ghosts. A lady with maggots crawling out of her eyes is every now and then made out by Newport Dam very late at   night looking at the water. In any case, it's a scary ghost that should be steered clear of. The ghost of a lady with a knife in her back is rumored to have been perceived on frequent instances shouting mid stream in Big Ugly Run. Residents declare that this ghost is in all probability the undeparted ghost of a local who used to have a house here in Shenandoah.
