Comment by Jody: Yes I am with you on this one. I also lived in Aquia Harbour and saw and heard many soldiers marching through my bedroom. How wonderful it is now to hear other Aquia Harbour residents are having experiences. For many years there were not people who connected with me on this....

My daughters boyfriend took this photo last Saturday night at about 1:30 am and by chance later realized in the top right side there is a man in the picture over my dog that sleeps. We are still investigating and trying to learn more about this figure in the picture.
Our home is only 6 years old but is built on what use to be many Union camps.|

Comment by Casey: The reason why I went searching for this website was to see if anyone else had similar experiences in the harbor. I live on Victoria Dr. One early morning on veterans day last year my husband left for work and I thought he had come back to be ''cute'' and surprise me.
The presence was so strong! I waited couple of seconds to see if he would do something but I started to feel curious so I looked behind myself in bed and saw what looked to be a man decked out in a Civil War outfit ( which most people on here are referring to as ''union uniform'' ) standing straight up beside my bed.
I jumped a little and turned around and than looked back again to wonder if I was just going crazy and he was gone. It definitely brings comfort in knowing I wasn't losing my mind and that other people are experiencing the same man/or men that I saw.
