Staunton, Virginia Ghost Tales In the late 70s, I stayed in Staunton, at a friends' of my parents. The house was vey old, wiith original wood floors...very creepy. One night, I heard a voice and saw an image standing in the middle of the room where I was sleeping.  I wish I remember where it was. I had just went to bed and was staring out the bedroom window. When I turned over to go to sleep she was standing right beside the bed. I could not make out her face but, she was wearing what looked like a night gown. And was clinching the gown right at the top. She reached out for my face then disappeared.
