Staunton, Virginia Ghost Tales The now former Gypsy 4 theater of stunton VA was once a grand opera house. A fire broke out some time in the Early to mid 1900's causing significant damage to the building. As a former projectionist there I experienced strange occurences. Once while threading a movie my eight inch braid was lifted straight up in the air. When I looked up a Young blond haired greenish eyed girl (about eight-ish) in an off White dress was sitting on the pallet holding my hair. She silently laughed and completely vanished into thin air. My mother who worked as a manager there at the time (and a dyed in the wool sceptic) reports that she had also had run ins with the girl. Strangely rolls of coins would dissapper and the coins later found in stacks and paterns in the projection room... As if they had been played with. The girl seemed to be most active in the upper Story (theaters 3 and 4) and projection rooms. Another figure that of a tall Man dressed in an ill fiting Black victorian suit (too tight and high in the leg, and loose across the shoulders)       was occasionally seen glaring from what had once been the orchastration pit (behind the screen and curtain for theater 2 on the bottom floor) in all of the research I have done I could find no corrilation to the figures and the fire. I could find nothing about the figures full stop. If anybody has any information on this please post. One night, I heard a voice and saw an image standing in the middle of the room where I was sleeping.  I wish I remember where it was.
