The spirit of a bound up woman was distinguished at Ballinger Creek late at night tossing rocks into the water. Other reports of this ghost have been
  reported. If you listen to what the locals argue, this ghost is the stressed spirit of a long forgotten Troy local person.

A female carrying her head by her arm was made out standing in the middle of a gloomy highway near Troy. Several folks around here have had comparable sightings involving an almost identical ghost. A lot of folks who live here assert this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while driving through Troy long ago. In any event, this is a bad ghost that you do not want to bump into on a dark night.

The ghost of a man having half his head lost has regularly been noticed dispatching a container at a Troy post office.
