Throughout the entire time we lived there we’d often have the family playing a game or watching programs together in the family room when we’d hear the distinctive sound of footsteps moving through the hallway above. Father would of course go check to see who may be there and always the same thing. No one. In the late 1980’s another family member was taking a bath in the main bathroom. The remaining     family members were gathered in the family room downstairs when a loud knock rapped at the bathroom door. When asked who’s there, no answer, and again knocking. Who’s there? No answer. No one else heard anything and all others denied having been the knocker. During the 80’s the children weren’t afraid to tell their friends that the house was haunted. The friends of course laughed. I suppose they expected an abandoned old house with cob webs and a history.
