This is the first pic taken on Mill Mountain on the overlook of the Roanoke Star. Our ORB picture frenzy began with my husband taking this pic and stating that there was a moon in the pic but no where in the sky. Look closely, it looks like the biggest ORB I have ever seen close up. I have never encountered so many ghostly images in one place the same night. I am not easily baffled or scared, but my experience in Roanoke was a Halloween weekend to remember, thats for sure. But I do have to say, the Roanoke residents are the friendliest people I have ever met and despite the spooky ghosts that couldn't wait to strike a pose for me, I will continue to visit beautiful Roanoke, VA often. I just wont take anymore photos at night.

This pic was also taken the same night on Mill Mountain of the Roanoke Star overlook. Just step back from the pic slowly and you can see in this mist, what was looking back at me as I took this picture. I see a face (too close for comfort) staring into my camera lense. On what looks like an eye, to your left there is a white ORB, and you can see the other eye to the right. Browse downward center and you see a nose. I cant wait to delete these pics from my camera...it just freaks me out!.

This is a pic taken on Mill Mountain 10/30/09 when my mom took us to see the Roanoke Star around 7pm. We saw many ORBS that night near the railing on the overlook. But this pic frightened me more than anything I have ever seen before. To your upper left corner there is an evil face with an ORB in it with deep, hallow, dark eyes and a grin that made my hairs stand on end.

The white ORB in the previous pic, has just changed form and color and became bigger in this picture, as if feeding off her energy or playing with her as she climbed the tree. I can only assume it was the spirit of the 'chow-chow' dog or of a loving relative that just happened to pass away on Halloween night, the day after this pic was taken, maybe to say goodbye. May her soul rest in peace. But I was so spooked that night that I was startled and demaded that my sister get off the tree.

This pic was taken while my sister was climbing the tree in my mother's back yard the night before Halloween 2009 around 10:00pm during my vacation to Roanoke, VA to visit my family. Notice the white solid ORB on the left tree branch. On my digital camera you can see a ghostly transparent figure of a 'chow-chow' dog near her foot in between the branches in the background sitting in the grass, but it is difficult to see on the uploaded pic.

GHOST OF A YOUNG GIRL, BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6 TO 8, HAS BEEN SIGHTED BY THREE SEPARATE PEOPLE AT THIS OLD FARMOUSE IN WIRTZ, OFF OF MALLARD POINT RD. I HAVE SEEN HER OUT OF THE CORNER OF MY EYE..JUST A FLUTTER AT THE STAIR LANDING. THEN AGAIN OUTSIDE THE BACK GLASS DOOR. OUR 16 YR. OLD HAS SEEN HER PASS OUTSIDE THE BEDROOM WINDOW, AGAIN, JUST A QUICK BLUR, THEN WHEN YOU LOOK BACK, NOTHING. A FRIEND SAW HER FROM OUR GARDEN, SHE WAS PASSING THE OLD CONCRETE STAIRS THAT USED TO BELONG TO THE OLD BACK DOOR. IT WAS BROAD DAYLIGHT, BUT STILL SHE SAW HER PASS BRIEFLY...THEN NOTHING. SHE SEEMS TO BEAR NO ILL WILL. JUST MAYBE SOME UNREST LIES WITH THIS HOUSE AND HER HISTORY. OR MAYBE SHE'S JUST HAPPY WITH WHAT WE'VE DONE TO THE HOUSE AND PLEASED WITH OUR FAMILY.
