The most talked about haunted place in Wytheville is the house

of Dr. Paul Morin.  It was owned by the brother of a famous General during the Civil War.  There was an orphanage across the street that burned down and everyone died except one Nun.  She lived with the
soldiers in the house and became ill and died.  To this day numerous people have seen the Nun.  A drug rep stayed at the house one night a few years back and woke up in the middle of the night with the Nun standing at the foot of his bed and was told ''You don't belong here'', he threw his pillow at it and it disapeared.  The N.P. at Dr Morin's office saw the Nun following Dr Morin down the hall one morning, and it should be noted that the nurse practicioner is a Pastor and didn't believe in ghosts.  Dr Morin has never personally seen the ghost, but many others have.  Dr Morin believes the Nun watches
out over his family.
