Some say she got hung by her lover whome she was not marrying that day but another gentleman he did not like that much.So her lover decided to hang her as if he couldnt have her no one could.

During the daylight hours Yorktown, Virginia is equal to any other American settlement, but this is a settlement where the undead stride the avenues during the night time. The ghosts of this municipality don’t leave anyone unalarmed. Not everyone has faith in the stories the local residents tell, but not a hundred percent of the natives of Yorktown are breathing.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A half decomposed human corpse materialized at Harwoods Mill Dam very late at night weeping. The ghost did not appear to be anxious by the eye witnesses. In any case, it in all certainty is a frightening ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate.

The ghost of a grower dressed in a straw hat was observed scrambling out from a manhole on a Yorktown residential road around midnight. When the ghost was observed it vanished into the thin air.

The spirit of a young air force pilot was noticed musicalizing on a harp in a Yorktown residence. The spirit was consumed by the air after being perceived. Several of the locals assert this ghost is that of a local who resided here in Yorktown before the present. No matter what, this ghost certainly is frightening; one that is better not upset.

A woman with a blue-green face has frequently been made out in Back Creek Park on a dark night meditating. Whatever people articulate, it's a terrifying ghost that you do not want to bump into around midnight.

The phantom of a delivery man has been said to have been witnessed on frequent occasions scaring people by Cabin Creek.

A guy's body having the head of a horse can frequently be perceived in a Yorktown secondary school at midnight walking the corridors. If you talk to the folks who live here, this spirit gets pleasure from frightening foolhardy folks who are brave enough to interrupt the tranquility in Yorktown.

The ghost of a gentleman gripping a sword can be seen often turning toward the observer down next to the water at Bay Point.

A woman with maggots crawling out of her nostrils has every so often been distinguished mid stream in Back Creek looking angrily at the observer.

The ghost of a shackled up lady is occasionally seen on the shore of Lake Maury yelling at the eye witness to be off.
