The temperature gauge read 73 again. I could feel the temperature difference, I could have stood on my car and touched the rope. Just wanted to share my story, I've read so many of yours.
This place is real, and very very haunted. There is a very dark and powerful force in those woods, I would not recommend going there alone.

One night my cousin, uncle and I went fishing late at night. We were the only ones there. As we were fishing my cousin said he had heard a snare drum being played but my uncle and I didn't hear it. About 15 minutes later, we all heard a snare drum pretty loud.
Where we had went fishing was right next to the battlefield during the revolutionary war. After that night, we never went fishing night there again!.|

Comment by Mariner: Ahhhh.. Same thing happened to me very early one morning on the backside of the pond along the tour road that comes out by the coast guard base. I grew up in Yorktown and spent many of nights sneaking around the tour roads and the battlefields hearing the fire and drums early that morning (5 am) had been my only experience ever in Yorktown.
