In 1986 I lived in base housing at NWS, Yorktown. One night in my bedroom I saw the ghost of a soldier. He was dressed in the uniform the English wore during the revolutionary war. I could see him clearly; he was tall (about 6'3'') and he was looking at me with a huge smile on his face. I didn't feel threatened at all by the apparition. After watching him for about twenty seconds, he slowly floated up through the ceiling and disappeared.

I have been to Crawford Rd and the West Point train tracks, there was a train going by in the middle of the night, and actual train noise and everything. So I would not park on the tracks. I have seen lights down the track that seem to sway from side to side as if someone is carrying it, but I just don't know.. And nothing has happened when I went to Crawford Rd except just plain spookiness. Anyways, anyone in Hampton want to go ghost hunting lemme know. Knew to it but very interested in new places.
