Bluefield, West Virginia Ghost Tales

A military uniform pacing about lacking a body in it has purportedly been noticed on many occasions at night checking out Neal Hollow in detail. According to the folks who live here, this ghost is perhaps the undead ghost of a local who used to live here in Bluefield.

The ghost of a civil war fighter may often be noticed in a phone booth in Bluefield making a phone call. If you listen to what the residents argue, this ghost is the tormented spirit of a long dead Bluefield person who lived here.

The ghost of a man having words etched into his hand can be noticed frequently striding through a Bluefield vicinity burial ground.

The ghost of a gravely mangled hunter pulling a dead wolf has once in a while been spotted turning toward the watcher beside Dills Spring at the stroke of midnight. Lots of people who live here say this phantom is the phantom of a traveler that was murdered while driving through Bluefield before the present.
