I do not know why the little incorporated town of Boomer, WVa is haunted like this. I do know that Boomer was an old mining town and that houses on Boomer Hill and in Boomer Bottom are old company houses. There is also a little hollow that goes up to the old mines. On the Hollow there is what remains of an old company store that belonged to the mines,     a cemetery, and an old drive-inn movie theatre. Whether or not the mines have something to do with the haunting I do not know. I really do not know much more about the town's history. I do not know what was the cause of the loud pounding and heavy walking that would awaken my sister and I from our sleep and scared us. .
