Bridgeport, West Virginia Ghost Tales Ever since I can remember I felt something weird in my room. Especially in my closet, where a small attic is. After years of having this weird feeling I finally moved out of that room into the one across the hall. A few weeks after I moved out of that room my aunt came to live with us for a while, just long enough until she could find a house of her own. Winter, my aunt, is a Lakota medicine woman and is very in touch with the spiritual world. And she told me that in my old room there was a spirit of a man, tall and stock. Immediately I thought of all the weird feelings I got in that room. Now keep in mind that I never told anyone why I moved out of that room so she couldn't be making this up. She said that he was once in the corner of my room but now he is in the opposite corner the one nearest my new room. She told me that he was there to watch over me, and the only reason he hasn't moved into my new room with me is because he knows that I'm afraid of him. This isn't the only sighting my aunt saw. There's also a sprite, or young       ghost, that also lives in our house. She said that he is very mischievous, and likes to play pranks. There is also the spirit of a woman that mostly stays out in the yard and watches over the house. I have also had very many occurrences with the spirits in the house. One night I was in my room on my lap top and it was about two in the morning at   the time. For some reason I looked out my door and I saw a shadow that ran across wall across my room. I have cats so I just thought that it was just one of them running down the hall way. But then the shadow came back but it stopped right in front of the door. I could tell it was a shadow of a man and it turned its head toward me and just stared at me, then it just ran away. This is of a time when I had just got out of the shower and the mirror was all foggy and as I was drying off, a smiley face was drawn of it. Like someone had just taken their finger and marked it. So I drew one back. And now every time I take a shower that same smiley face returns. This is the most recent happening. A few nights ago I was laying in my room and my door all of a sudden opened. So I walk over and close it back. As soon as I laid back down the door opened again but slammed closed. This went on for a few hours open closed open closed. And now I started to get irritated so I yelled ''ok! now this is getting ridiculous! Please stop this is so childish!'' And then... It started to slam faster before it stopped all together. .
