Bud, West Virginia Ghost Tales


By day Bud, West Virginia is your typical United States municipality, but this municipality is haunted by stressed ghosts of yesteryear. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is repeatedly distinguished raking leaves in the front yard of a mobile home in Bud. A local man claims that this ghost may be the spirit of a local who passed on here in Bud a long time ago.

The ghost of a gentleman having on a military outfit has supposedly been seen on several occasions enjoying the scenery at Beartown Fork Dam on a dark night. One of the local residents determinedly argues that this ghost is in all probability the undeparted
ghost of a local person who used to dwell here in Bud. One thing is for guaranteed, it's a chilling ghost that any reasonable person wouldn't wish to come across.

The armor of a medieval knight without a human being inside can frequently be seen down next to Dwight Shrewsbury Spring before sunrise startling folks. A number of of the people here claim this spirit is the undeceased spirit of an old Bud local.
