Bud, West Virginia Ghost Tales


The daytime hours in Bud, West Virginia are the same as daytime hours anywhere else, but when the dark shadows of the nighttime move in the undead invade. Things go down in this town that cannot be explained. A number of locals assert these descriptions are not true, but with so many ghosts in Bud you have a reasonably perfect chance of setting eyes on one if you stay for a few days in this town.

A man's body with the head of a rat has purportedly been perceived on many occasions looking for a shoe in the middle of Allen Creek. Several of the locals claim this ghost likes startling folks who are bold enough to interrupt the peace in Bud.

The ghost of a guy holding a sword can often be seen eating an apple by a streetlamp in Bud.

The ghost of a woman having a cross engraved into her back has now and then been witnessed staring
 
    at the water by Beartown Fork Dam in the early morning hours.

The spirit of a woman with a stiletto in her back is once in a while made out verbalizing into the thin air down by Dwight Shrewsbury Spring around midnight. No matter what, it is indisputably a scary ghost that you shouldn't go searching for.
