Charleston, West Virginia Ghost Tales In Clay County, West Virginia, I was visiting my grandparents. My cousins were also at my grandparents house. We were hanging out in the woods in an old cabin. it was dark. I saw a creature out of the corner of my eye. It was black and had red flashing eyes almost like headlights. We got so scarred we ran all the way back to my grandparents house. The next morning we went back to the spot we saw the creature just to find out that the things in the cabinets of the cabin were strung out everywhere across the room. To this day we don't know if the creature broke in to the cabin or if a robber had broken in. We visit the cabin every now and then but only during the day.   . While I was getting a drink I saw out of the corner of my eye the hand and wondered if it was something outside. Well I move everything in the house to see if it was reflecting off of something. It never moved the hand was stretched       out like you would do for a high five. With five fingers too... I saw it a second time last year and never saw it since... If I do see the hand again ill be sure to take a picture.. Local people who have seen this ghost allege this ghost gets pleasure from frightening unwise folks who are fearless enough to interrupt the peace in Charleston. The ghost of a man with words engraved into his cheek emerged in Blackwell Field on a dark night dragging a dead body through some bushes. When the phantom was spotted it faded away into the night.
