Danville, West Virginia Ghost Tales


In the day Danville, West Virginia is your normal United States city, but this is a city where the undead march the avenues during the night. Ghosts are so routine in this place; scores of people who live here don’t even lose sleep about it anymore. Several people who live here claim there are no phantoms, but anyone who has spent a night in Danville, West Virginia knows better.

  zinc-miner has often been noticed in Madison Memorial Park around midnight appearing chilling.

The phantom of a man outfitted as a janitor is repeatedly seen on the pinnacle of Brushy Point at night monitoring the scenery.

The spirit of a guy in a sheriff uniform has allegedly been observed on one or two occasions in the center of Adkins Fork howling at the eye witness to leave.

The ghost of an old guy with a large white beard can often be seen traveling on a bike on a murky road right next door to Danville. People here allege that this ghost is the struggling spirit of an old Danville
local.

The ghost of a gentleman having on army attire can be witnessed repeatedly in a Danville home. One thing is for sure, this is an unsympathetic ghost that you do not want to run into before sunrise.

A woman with a sword sticking out of her head has occasionally been made out emerging in a washroom mirror. One of the locals determinedly argues that this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while traveling through Danville many years ago.
