I spoke with my one of my sisters regarding the stories of ghost etc that was mentioned here. She like myself know of no ghost there. My mother was born and raised on Dingess mountain. As children we would ride through the tunnel and as dangerous as it seems without any headlights on.
We slid down the mountains on trash can lids during the winter months. Myself, I was never really liked visiting there because I was born and raised in the city. Some of my sisters still stay in contact with the ones still alive and living on Dingess mountain.
I have heard that people died building that tunnel so I guess there could be ghost. My family members buried on that mountain, ( I am sure would appreciate every one leaving them alone and to rest in peace.|
) and if you decide to roam around that mountain, I would advise you not too. They don't take kindly to vistiors that are not family.
