I would advise you to stay off the mountain and leave the people there to rest and the ones still living well, you might get a shock from them. They don't like vistors there that don't belong. The tunnel is very spooky.
As a child my uncle used to drive up through there with the lights out on his truck and it was cold and creepy. I was always afraid that someone or something was going to jump out of the man holes that you stand in.
advise to whom ever is roaming around there and you don't belong, leave them alone.|

One night late in July 2007, my sister, my brother , and a few of my nieces and I were out ghost hunting and ended up in the Dingess tunnel, it was around one o'clock in the morning, and just as we were about to enter into the Lenore side of the tunnel I snapped my digital camera and lo and behold I picked up a very clear picture of a little girl, after making several trips back and forth through the tunnel my niece picked up some beautiful old time organ music on her EVP player.
Another time later we made a trip through the tunnel entering from the Dingess side, it looked as though every brick in the tunnels was brand new. I thought I was seeing things and was Embarrassed to mention it until later that night all of us had seen the same thing.
