Harpers Ferry, West Virginia Ghost Tales


At first sight Harpers Ferry, West Virginia seems like an average municipality, but when the dark shadows of the night enter the undeparted invade. Some of the departed won't stay underground in this town. Not everybody has faith in the tales the residents tell, but terrifying things unquestionably happen here in Harpers Ferry in the moonlight hours.

The spirit of a farmer dressed in a worn hat has been witnessed on numerous instances in Antietam Dargan Community Park at midnight throwing stones.

A young-looking girl wearing a blood-covered wedding dress can now and then be observed burrowing a cavity down at White Horse Rapids around midnight. Whatever folks state, this is a hostile spirit that is preferably not upset.

A gentleman having an axe in his head has regularly been perceived before sunrise studying Frog Hollow in detail.

The ghost of a mailman is regularly distinguished pulling a cadaver from the freezing water of Antietam Creek around midnight. One thing is for guaranteed, it's a creepy phantom that you do not want to encounter on a dark night.
