He unlocked all three and entered the room. There was dust on the floor so it would have been obvious if anyone had been walking in there; no footprints were found. He went to the window that his co-worker said was the one he noticed the man at; the window was locked. My father checked the rest of the windows, and they were also locked. From my knowledge this is the only sighting of this man standing on the roof next to a window.

Back in the 1980s there was a lot of renovation going on in Harpers Ferry. One of the buildings had no door on it, and a plank of wood was laid over the alley and led into the doorway. I don't know what I was thinking when I walked across the plank balancing myself several feet above the street below. I got inside and began to make my way up the stairs. I got halfway up when I heard a woman's voice say no! And I was shoved full force back down the stairs! Was she trying to protect me from something or did she want to remain the only woman in the house?.
