Harts, West Virginia Ghost Tales There is a ghost that gets in your car at the beginning of Tony curve, and gets out of your car at the end of the curve. No one likes to go there after dark!!!. Submitted by Steven Browning On the face of it Harts, West Virginia seems like your standard town, but this is a town where the undeceased stagger the avenues in the dark hours. Ghosts are so common in this town; a lot of local residents don’t even worry       about it anymore. Disbelievers don't believe in the local ghost accounts, but the struggling souls of Harts are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here   recently. The ghost of a tied up lady may every now and then be seen staring up on the top of Green Shoals Mountain. A female hauling her head beneath her arm was perceived in Big Ugly Wildlife Management Area after midnight hauling a corpse over the grass. The spirit did not seem to be anxious by the witnesses. One thing's for guaranteed, this phantom indisputably is frightening; one that is better not interrupted. The ghost of a guy with half his head not there emerged mowing the lawn in the yard of a flat in Harts. When the phantom was witnessed it faded away into the thin air. A resident asserts that this phantom is that of a local person who existed here in Harts many years ago. The phantom of a young woman having on a blood-splattered wedding gown was seen late at night floating by on Aarons Creek. The ghost was gobbled up by the air after being spotted. A beheaded lady was noticed redistributing orbs around in Barker Hollow before sunrise. When seen the phantom came close to the eye witness who then ran off. One of the residents confidently says that this ghost loves frightening folks who come trying to locate ghosts in Harts.
