My husband told me a story about something that happened to a him and a friend. He grew up on Huges Creek Road, Hugheston, WV. My husband states that he and a friend were up on the hill behind my husband's childhood home to smoke a cigarette and they come across a grave. The grave had a headstone on it that read: ''Colonel Henry Cobb''. (Colonel Cobb was in the Civil War). My husband and his friend being obnoxious teenagers, knocked the headstone

over and left. They returned later that same day only to find that the headstone was sitting in it's original position and not the way they had left
|
it (on the ground). No one else could get to the grave without going through the yard and not being seen or heard by anyone in the house.
They knew they left the grave with the headstone knocked over and could not figure out any reasons why the headstone would be sitting up right. To test to see if the headstone would do it again. They knocked the headstone over again and left. This time they watched from the back porch to see if anyone
