My Dad, Mom, & I were on our way home one night from Welch. There used to be a spring of water on the side of the road at Apple Grove, ''near Iaeger.'' Dad always stopped there to get a drink in the cup he always carried in the truck, whenever we traveled that way. So, he parks in the wide spot on the opposite side of the road & leaves     the headlights on. He walks across the road & crosses the wooden plank over the ditch line, as he bends down to fill his cup, this lady gets up out of the ditch line & cross the road. She walks in front of the truck where Mom & I are waiting, walks a short distance, and disappears right before our eyes. Dad yelled and asked us if we had saw that. Yes, we did indeed. She had black hair & a white dress on with matching white shoes. What's so unreal is that her dress & shoes weren't wet or muddy from the water running in the ditch.
