I was with some friends this one day and we were bored out of are minds, then we started to walk down Water Street in Keyser. We went by Cliff Street and then one of my friends go 'ever been up that hill?'. No well we went up there, there was an old cemetery.
There was about five tombstones, my other friend started to not be able to breath. We turned around to see what was wrong, she was holding her neck like she was being choked, turned out
she was. My friend had some salt to throw at it, who knows what it was. Then we ran..|

I live in Keyser but my grandmother lives across the bridge. I day when I stayed there I was in the bathroom when I got out of the shower. When I got out the closet door was half way open. So I just didn't think nothing of it until it slammed closed (no windows or doors were open) and I ran out as fast as can.

Keyser previously known as patty town was the site of Civil War skirmishes between federal soldiers and Confederate guerilla forces. The accounts of various hauntings are not totally related to that time period although there are a few.
