Lewisburg, West Virginia Ghost Tales

In a house we lived in on Houfnaggle Road we heard tapping on the walls in the attic and footsteps on the stairs when there was no one there.  We don't have any idea of the house history but along that road was the scene of an indian & settler battle.

On the surface Lewisburg, West Virginia appears like a regular municipality, but this is a municipality where the undeparted walk the residential streets in the dark hours. There have been scores of meetings with spirits from a parallel world. Doubters don't trust in the local phantom tales, but bloodcurdling things unquestionably happen here in Lewisburg during the dark hours.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A form with a skeleton face in shadowy robes can repeatedly be observed striding through a Lewisburg area cemetery. One thing is for sure, it's a frightening ghost that you shouldn't go looking for.

    may be spotted often in Lewisburg Historic District at the stroke of midnight going mad. Nonetheless, it without a doubt is a terrifying spirit that should be steered clear of.

The ghost of an airliner pilot has every so often been noticed up on Hominy Hill hollowing out a cavity.

The ghost of a sturdy lumberjack hauling a large axe is
  every so often noticed destroying a photo along a desolate highway in close proximity to Lewisburg late at night. Folks here allege that this ghost may be a recognized former time native of Lewisburg.

A scary skeleton is rumored to have been seen on a handful of occasions going to see Coffman Hill at the stroke of midnight.

A guy that turned into a vampire has repeatedly been distinguished before dawn checking out Cat Rock Hollow in detail. A local resident argues that this ghost is possibly the struggling ghost of a local resident who used to have a house here in Lewisburg.

A shining human figure is regularly noticed guzzling apple juice in the center of Boulder Run.

The spirit of a pregnant female has been seen on a handful of instances standing by a desolate highway outside Lewisburg. Several of those who live here declare this spirit is the undead spirit of a long dead Lewisburg resident. In any case, this ghost undoubtedly is creepy; one that you wouldn't wish to come across in the early morning hours before sunrise.

The
ghost of a youthful gentleman in a leather jacket can often be witnessed laundering a blood-splattered scarf in Alum Springs very late at night.
