Mill Creek, West Virginia Ghost Tales I was recently stayin in the town of Mill Creek fishing. My Partner and I decided to try fishing for large trout at night on the shavers fork. We were disturbed by a faint appearance of a young woman sitting on a log at the top of cheat mountain. She appeared to be reaching for something in the air. Suddenly she noticed us and gave a rather painful look of sorrow, then at once hissed at us and vanished into thin air. Submitted by Josh M. Objects slide around, words coming from nothing. Doubters don't have faith in the local ghost stories, but a stop in Mill Creek, West Virginia will make anybody believe. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A gentleman devoid of a head may sometimes be spotted on a dark night gazing across Cranberry Flat. Regardless of what, it's a chilling ghost that any       reasonable person wouldn't wish to run into. The spirit of an aged gold digger with a sizeable beard and an eye patch was seen hurling stones in Lost Hollow in the early morning hours before sunrise. The watcher freaked out and ran away.
