I told this Story to a friend of mine whose grandparents lived up Monaville hollow. My friend said he was walking up the hollow one evening to visit his grandma and saw the same lumberjack my friend's description was the same as mine. The lumberjack was holding an ax walking towards monaville. My friend said that he said hello to the lumberjack but the lumberjack     did not say a word. We both agreed the lumberjack is in a intense hurry with a worried look on his face and does not like to be seen.... Years later I found out that in the Early 20th Century the state of WV had almost all there trees cut down by lumberjacks..
