Parkersburg, West Virginia Ghost Tales I was born in parkerburg and lived in a house on packard st. Til I was about 12 years old, then we moved away til i was about 17 and the whole time I was away from there I and my cousin both missed the house so much because we had so many memories. To shorten up the story We moved back and around when I was 20 the house came up for rent, so my cousin and me jumped on it and rented it. Seemed like a dream of being a kid actually came true. Or so I thought. When we moved back in the old house, which was the first house built in that nieghborhood in 1940 I took the room I had as a child. The first night I when we went to bed i kept hearing what seemed like classic music playing. Didnt think anything of it thought it was coming from my cousins room. Everynight more happened. I started to hear a heavy breathing that sounding like it was coming from right infront of my door, then the music was getting louder and louder, I would jump up and go to his room and he'd be dead asleep. Over the months we both talked about experiences, we       both noticed the cabinet doors were all opened of a morning and he claimed to of been taking out the trash around back and saw a man in the window, the one time he was walking around back and said i was standing in the window looking at him. I wasnt even there. Now the scariest for me was the night I kept hearing the heavy breathing, the tv was blarring   in the living room, music coming from my cousins room. Back and forth back and forth I got so angry because I thought it was him messing with me i jumped up swung my door open ready to hit him, but when I did he wasnt there a smokey figure was standing in front of me and vanished then all the noise stopped. I ran to my cousins room he was dead asleep and heard nothing we got up and left the house that night.... But I'm 100% sure that house is haunted. He was getting ready to hear what the tour guide was about to say about the book store but, he saw this little girl by the stairs just staring at him and he asked what she wanted and she just vanished and thats when he realized she was a ghost. Later he took pictures by the stairs and there was like orbs and stuff. Sorry I don't have the pictures but it was really cool.
