Sharples, West Virginia Ghost Tales


While the sun is up you may very well assume Sharples, West Virginia is just the same as any other settlement, but this settlement has creepy enigmas masked in the shadows. Ghosts are so normal in this town; a lot of folks who live here don’t even lose sleep about it any longer. People who have never stayed a day in this city will tell you it's all just superstition, but seeing is believing and if you stay for the night here in Sharples, you could observe a phantom.

    a police force outfit is known to have been made out on a few instances on the pinnacle of Blair Mountain at midnight gazing at the panorama.

  can every so often be distinguished in the middle of Abe Burgess Fork screaming names of people.

A woman with an axe sticking out of her head was witnessed exploring Barker Gap in detail very late at night. The watcher got freaked out and fled. Scores of local residents claim this ghost is that of a resident who had a house here in Sharples long ago. No matter what, this is an unsympathetic spirit that any commonsensical person wouldn't wish to meet.

A knight's armor without a human being inside appeared staring at the water by Skin Poplar Branch Refuse Dump Dam late at night. The ghost
greeted the watcher.

The phantom of a lady with a sack fastened around her head was made out at a pay phone in Sharples making a phone call. The phantom was swallowed by the air after being witnessed. Residents here who have distinguished this spirit declare this spirit enjoys startling foolhardy folks who dare to interrupt the silence in Sharples.
