Williamsburg, West Virginia Ghost Tales

While the sun shines Williamsburg, West Virginia is an ordinary United States town, but when the darkness of nighttime begins; things turn scary. Chairs shift about, sounds out of the darkness. Some people who live here declare these tales are not true, but Williamsburg is bursting with undead souls just waiting to frighten you.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The phantom of an old cleaning lady is every now and then made out smoking a pipe near Castret Spring late in the night.

The phantom of a youthful lady clad as a

house keeper has been said to have been observed on many instances late at night fluttering across Chestnut Flat. In any case, it indisputably is a terrifying spirit that you do not want to meet at night.

The
spirit of a down-and-out man can now and then be distinguished grasping a human cranium in Raders Valley on a dark night.

A menacing beast was observed in a Williamsburg residence. This is one of those ghosts that is seen very often around here.

The ghost of a coal-miner came into view struggling to articulate something in the middle of Beech Run. The ghost didn't mind that there was somebody other there.
