Williamson, West Virginia Ghost Tales There are a lot of weird things that happen on maple walk. It was once an old coal camp for miners and their families. One house in particular was one that I lived in for several years. At the end of maple walk, a 3 story house, at night I would hear people talking from inside the house, and on several occasions I was in the shower and saw the figure of a man standing there watching me. I lived with my sister and my daughter, there were no men living or staying in the house. I have seen shadows of a man many times in the house. My sister would hear the front door slam shut, keys rattling and footsteps going up the stairs, she was the only one home at the time and the doors were all locked. My daughter was working on a school project that involved a voice recorder, she was listening to the audio that she recorded and heard a man's voice, like a whisper, say ''go away''. It really freaked us out cause there was no one home but the 2 of us. We ended up moving to another residence in Williamson. Submitted by Michelle There are several houses       on poplar st that are haunted, one in which by a little girl who runs the halls at night, you can hear her shoes tapping on the wooden floors, and her laughter echo through the house late at night.  Another is inhabited by an elderly man, lady and a little boy, the homeowners say that you can hear a man and woman arguing in the hallway in the middle   of the night, look out of the bedroom door and no one is there, they also like to shut doors and rattle door knobs, I have personally experienced this several times in the house. I have also seen an Indian in the living room sitting in front of the fireplace, it's creepy, but still intrigues me.
