From a distance Alberta, Alabama seems like a regular town, but only some of the inhabitants of this town are alive. A lot of ghost accounts have been exposed by the local residents. A pitch black snake that transformed into a female has been said to have been observed on one or two occasions piling bricks in a sail boat on William 'Bill' Dannelly Lake. Folks here claim that this spirit may be the spirit of a local resident who died here in Alberta many years ago.

The ghost of a youthful cowboy was made out trying to locate a shoe by Chilatchee Creek. Panic stricken by the observers the ghost receded into the dark. One of the residents determinedly alleges that this spirit may well be a famous days gone by inhabitant of Alberta.
