In 1973 there were a lot of sightings of ufo's around Ashland and clay county. I remember one night my sister and I had gone to a football game. We came home and our mother was totally shaken up. We lived in a 2 story house and she said she was in her upstairs bedroom and the TV became static.
She went into my brother's bedroom where he was asleep and looked out the window just as she passed by it. There was a round object outside hovering low to the ground as she watched she said it looked like a door opened up and lights were strobing inside.

She was very frightened picked up my brother ran downstairs and out the door. She did not look back to see what the UFO was doing she got in the car and left. She came back with someone else along 45 mins.

Later and could see 3 objects in the woods behind our house. By the time we came home they were gone. My mother was not easily frightened and was a very truthful woman. Something definitely happened to her that night.
