Autaugaville, Alabama Ghost Tales Driving on Hwy 14 through Autuagaville towards Prattville at night, I noticed what appeared to be something white and flowing up ahead on the right side of the road.  I thought little of this and my mind dismissed it as a piece of cloth that probably got caught on the fence and the wind must be blowing it.  As a passed it,  a frightening chill passed through me when I realized that it was not a piece of fabric caught on a fence at all.  It was a figure of a woman in a white flowing gown walking on the side of the road.  She had a glow to her.  I will never forget this. Night hour is undead time around here. Not everybody believes in the descriptions the people who live here tell, but bloodcurdling things sure go down here in Autaugaville in the moonlight hours. These are some of the spooky things that       have happened here recently. A woman with a knife sticking out of her head can repeatedly be spotted drifting along on Beaver Creek around midnight. In any event, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that is better not upset.
